This Expression of Interest (“EOI”) is issued by the City of Nanaimo (“the City”) for identifying experienced non-profit service providers that are interested in providing Warming Centre Services. The services are to operate between December 1, 2023 and March 31, 2024 and provide services during the winter season and extreme cold weather events for homeless or precariously housed individuals. The intent of the EOI is to seek qualified non-profit service providers interested in providing the service. Following the close of this EOI, the City may create a listing of non-profit service providers, issue a subsequent invitation only solicitation, direct award, or cancel or terminate the project. This Expression of Interest is subject to the New West Partnership Trade Agreement, Canadian Free Trade Agreement - Chapter 5, and the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) - Chapter 19.
